EPISODE 1
The forbidden thrill
There are destinies we do not choose.
Wilhelm’s has been written since his birth, wrapped in gold, in silences and forced smiles.
A prince shaped to reign, educated to please, programmed to never fail.
But behind the official portraits and carefully measured speeches, a teenager suffocates.
A boy cries out into the void.
One night, that cry bursts free.
A prince suffocated by the gaze of others, Wilhelm loses himself in the excess of a party where every flash burns his heart, he spirals.
Alcohol, anger, the exhaustion of being a role.
A spark of rebellion, captured by a camera. And suddenly, everything collapses.
To save the image of the monarchy, he is sent to Hillerska, an elite boarding school, lost in the Swedish countryside.
Austere, sacred place, where the walls breathe tradition and coldness.
There, the days are set like clockwork, the uniforms impeccable, the smiles restrained.
But in the midst of this frozen perfection, a song rises.
A voice, warm, alive, vibrant.
It is Simon.
There, among uniforms and judging gazes, a free and marginal boy, son of immigrants.
Simon has neither title nor fortune.
He is the opposite of everything Wilhelm has ever known.
Son of a single mother, a scholarship student among heirs, he embodies freedom, authenticity, raw truth.
His voice seems to contain the world, it pierces the silence like a luminous arrow.
And when Wilhelm hears him for the first time, it is as if the air around him changes texture, lighter, truer, almost burning.
Their eyes meet.
One tries to understand.
The other looks away, too late.
Between them, something happens that no law, no crown, no protocol will ever be able to silence. Between them, a fragile spark is born, forbidden yet irresistible.
Around them, Hillerska watches, judges, whispers.
August, the prince’s cousin, faithful to order, appoints himself guardian of lineage and appearances.
Felice, gentle yet wounded, dreams of love without knowing where to find it.
Sara, Simon’s sister, struggles with her difference and searches for her place in a world of privilege.
Each carries their own burden, but only Wilhelm and Simon share the same secret fire: that of a love that should not exist, but that begins to grow nonetheless.
the prince’s heart beats for a boy he should not love. And yet, everything within him trembles at that contact.
Wilhelm then discovers what he did not know:
That the world is not made only of obligations and public smiles.
That there are emotions one cannot control, gazes that cross the soul, hands one wishes to touch without daring.
That freedom tastes like a song sung with closed eyes.
And Simon, for his part, feels his heart open to this fragile boy beneath the royal mask.
He sees what no one wants to see: a teenager seeking to be loved, simply, for himself.
Not for his name. Not for his rank. Not for the crown.
Night falls over Hillerska.
The uniforms are put away, the corridors fall silent.
But in the silence, something moves, an emotion that cannot be named.
A silent promise between two hearts that do not yet know everything they will face.
And in this suspended calm, a truth imposes itself:
Beneath the gilding and the discipline, beneath the gazes and the prohibitions, there exists a place where the prince can finally breathe.
That place is Simon.
Their story is only just beginning.
A whisper of a budding love in the corridors of a boarding school too cold.
A secret that grows, fragile, burning, inevitable.
And somewhere, between the crown and the heart, the prince begins to understand:
there is no kingdom greater than that of love.
The prince discovers that he is first and foremost a man who wants to love, and that choice may well shake a kingdom.
