OMAR RUDBERG
Born on November 12, 1998 in Anaco, Venezuela, Omar Josué Gonzalez is a Venezuelan-Swedish singer-songwriter and actor.
At the age of 6, he moved to Kungsbacka, Sweden, with his mother Wilnur Gonzalez, where she got married, and her husband adopted Omar, who then became Omar Rudberg.
He is a former member of the boyband FO&O (2013–2017).
As an actor, he is best known for playing the character Simon in the Swedish series Young Royals (2021–2024) on Netflix.
Since 2018, he has been building his solo music career.

2013 - 2017 :
Beginnings with FO&O
FO&O is a Swedish boyband composed of Oscar Enestad, Omar Rudberg, and Felix Sandman. It was created in 2013 under the name “The Fooo”. In 2014, the group changed its name to “The Fooo Conspiracy”.
In November 2016, Oscar Molander left the group, which then became “FO&O”.
On September 19, 2017, the group’s separation was announced, explained by the fact that the members—Felix Sandman, Oscar Enestad, and Omar Rudberg—wanted to focus on their respective solo careers.

Breakthrough as an Actor with Young Royals
2020 - 2024
In 2020, having always wanted to act, Omar Rudberg decided to try his luck on television and took an interest in the casting for the Swedish series Young Royals.
He auditioned for the role of Prince Wilhelm but ultimately landed the role of Simon. His character is one of the two main protagonists; the second (Prince Wilhelm) is played by Edvin Ryding.
In July 2021, Young Royals was released on Netflix.
2024 marked the end of the series after three seasons.

Establishing His Solo Music Career
In 2018, Omar Rudberg launched his solo career with the single “Que pasa”, featuring Swedish rapper Lamix, followed by “La mesa”, with Swedish rapper Elias Hurtig.
In 2019, he took part in Melodifestivalen with the song “Om om och om igen”. He did not reach the semifinal, but the exposure earned him his first Top 20 chart entry in Sweden, a first since the beginning of his solo journey.

World Tours
During the years of filming Young Royals, Omar released his very first solo album, followed by several singles. It was the perfect time to introduce his music to a wide and international audience.
In February 2024, Omar Rudberg performed on the stage of Cirkus in Stockholm for his very first solo concert, a powerful and symbolic moment in his career. From then on, everything accelerated.
He performed on multiple stages during Festival season, to the delight of everyone.
In October 2024, he released his EP Every Night Fantasy, after signing with the American label Atlantic Records.
This project also marked the launch of his first world tour, completely sold out, with concerts in England, France, Germany, and the United States.

At the end of his first world tour, Omar Rudberg announced his second one, scheduled for February 2025, with 19 dates across Europe from February 2 to March 2, 2025. He performed in 19 European cities in 11 different countries, including France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

The 2025 Festival Tour is set to continue increasing Omar’s popularity and establishing him as a rising international star.The audience is enthusiastic, swept by his stage energy, Omar gives everything on stage: he moves, sings, interacts with his fans. No downtime, and the show’s quality is undeniable.

Creation of His Beauty Brand
OMR BEAUTY
Omar Rudberg has always loved the world of cosmetics and beauty, and it was only natural for him to create his own unisex and vegan brand, OMR BEAUTY, in November 2023.
To this day, the products include Intro, Duo, Collection Oil, Fluid, Duo Oil, Intro Oil, and Fluid Oil.
A new fragrance is currently in preparation.
